E. David Smith will be moderating a panel about “Making Legal Mountains out of Legal Molehills – when to and when not to” at the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) Family Office Committee September Breakfast.
The panel will explore the role and art of the lawyer in advising family office clients, determining when to make term a deal breaker (and when not to).

The NYSSCPA Family Office Committee is comprised of CPAs who work in or lead a family office, manage the financial function of a family-owned business, serve as an advisor to a family controlled entity, or who represent, advise, or work closely with family businesses. Other professional service providers to family offices have also been invited to join the committee.
